Committees

The Association was formed in 1882 and controls all aspects of football within the defined boundaries as introduced by the Football Association. The Directors in conjunction with the Members of Council, employ a professional staff of 9 full time and 5 part time, who undertake the duties and assist the County in achieving its aims and goals.

The Liverpool County FA is assisted by Members of Council, who represent Senior Clubs(Everton FC, Liverpool FC & Tranmere Rovers FC), Senior Leagues and Divisional Representatives ( Area, Sunday Leagues & Schools)

The structure at present, enables the Association to provide a clear and concise service for all levels of football within the area and within the current confines of the Rules & Regulations of the Association.

Disciplinary Committee: Abides by the rules of the Football Association in matters pertaining to pitch conduct

Sanctions Committee: To regulate leagues and competitions in accordance with Football Association rules

Cup Competitions Committee: To manage and oversee all Football Association cup competitions and address matters arising.

Youth & Rep Team Committee: Controls and manages all of the youth and open age representative sides

Develoment Committee: To enhance relationships between development and governance, and ensure all development initiatives abide by Football Association procedures.

Referees Committee: Responsible for recruitment, retention and the welfare of Referees.
