Charter Standard is a national kite mark recognising those clubs that demonstrate raising standards, required standards, reaching excellence and promote to all members, parents and the public that they are a well organised, safe club offering opportunities for all. The programme is aimed at boys and girls under sixteen years old and will help children and parents find a club in their local area that meets FA standards.
FA Charter Standard Club Programme
The F.A. Charter Standard Programme looks to provide recognition to those clubs who demonstrate:
• Required standards • Raising Standards • Reaching Excellence
There are 3 levels of Awards for Clubs
1. FA Club/ Adult Club 2. FA Development Club 3. FA Community Club
The benefits for clubs achieving the Charter Standard include
• Use of Logos • Promotional materials • Funding Bursaries • Reduced CRB Check Cost • In-service Training • Priority Funding Application to the Football Foundation • Support of F.A. staff
However, maybe the most important benefit is the recognition, from The FA that the club demonstrates to all members, parents and the public that they are a well organised, safe club offering opportunities for all.
Here at Liverpool C.F.A. “we are committed to raising the standards of grassroots football by encouraging more people to play, to develop their skills, and to enjoy the game in the right environment. We believe that clubs who have gained the Charter Standard are ensuring the quality and safeguarding of the future that the game deserves.”
