Charter Standard Club Criteria

The F.A has drawn up the following set of criteria for clubs wishing to reach FA Charter Standard.

CHARTER STANDARD

All Clubs must meet the basic Charter Standard Criteria

• A Written Constitution
• Child Protection Self-Certification of Managers and Officials
• Managers to have minimum F.A. Level 1 Coaches Certificate
• Commitment to attend in-service Training
• Acceptance and promotion of Codes of Conduct
• Child Protection Policy
• Equality Policy
• Volunteers CRB Checked through the FA
• Codes of Conduct
• Age Appropriate – Introductory Module Course

CHARTER DEVELOPMENT

Development Clubs must also meet the following additional Criteria

• A minimum of 5 Teams
• A 3-5 Year Development Plan
• Level 2 Coach
• Youth Award Module 1

CHARTER COMMUNITY

• Community Clubs must also meet the following additional Criteria
• At least 10 teams from Youth to Adult
• Mini -Soccer Provision
• Boys and Girls Teams
• 5 Year Development Plan
• Youth Award Module 1 and provision for disability football
