Awarded in partnership with the F.A. this course is commonly known as the ‘U.E.F.A. ‘B’ Licence’.
This qualification provides an exciting opportunity for candidates to advance their practical team coaching skills, for working with senior players. On successful completion of the certificate, candidates are qualified to coach the skills and techniques of football to both adults and children. Each candidate is fully supported in developing his/her knowledge and skills during the qualification.
• Applicants must be holders of the old F.A. Coaching Certificate or the 1st 4 Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
• Applicants must hold the F.A. Child Protection and Emergency Aid certificates
• Applicants must have experience coaching teenagers and adults and have access to coaching these groups on a regular basis
On successful completion of the course the competent coach will be able to:
• Coach advanced individual techniques, groups skills, and principles of play to groups of players
• Develop an understanding of the coaching process and the needs of the player as it relates to teenagers and adults
• Display a knowledge of related sports science issues
• Plan and prepare coaching sessions in relation to a match programme and evaluate this process
To be eligible for the Final Assessment candidates must attend all aspects of the course.
