Liverpool FA - developing football for everyone
Development - take your skills to the next level

Disability Football Clubs

As part of the FA’s commitment to ensure that Disability football is recognised at the highest level of football, Liverpool County FA supports all disability football initiatives and clubs providing disability football.

Through our programmes we have made football accessible for all the following levels of ability: Blind, Partially-Sighted, Deaf and Hearing Impaired (men and women’s teams), Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities and Amputee football. Our Disability Clubs are fully represented within the NW Ability Counts League, Merseyside and Manchester FA Ability Counts League and continue to develop further opportunities through their respective Disability Programmes.

As Disability football continues to be more represented at a local club level within Merseyside through our network of Charter Standard Development and Community Clubs, Liverpool County FA are working tirelessly to provide opportunities for all disabled players, coaches and volunteers.

By providing support to existing club coaches through the Coaching Disabled Footballers course and providing practical experience through the School to Club Link programme, we hope to develop a skilled workforce that is both competent and confident in delivering Disability football sessions.

If your club is interested in developing opportunities within Disability football please contact Anna Farrell, Football Development Officer on 0151 523 4488 ext 112.
