FREE FA Disability Talent Selection Workshop

The FA Disability Talent Selection Workshop is seen as a key factor in the future success of the FA Disability Football Talent Pathway and will impact a range of education and community based professionals and volunteers.    

The workshop aims to address the lack of awareness relating to the Pathway within both the disability and wider football communities. The Workshop will cover the following themes:

• The FA Disability Football Talent Pathway
• What is talent?
• Classification and eligibility of players
• How can we find talented players?
• Player Case Studies and examples

Outcomes for workshop attendees include:

• To understand the process of Talent Selection (including identification, confirmation and development);
• To understand what ‘talent’ is and the assessment of it within the context of disability football;
• To improve knowledge of the FA Disability Talent Pathway and the performance opportunities that exist for players;
• To take responsibility and be involved in promoting the Talent Pathway and in identifying young players who are deemed to posses higher levels of talent.

There will be two workshops being delivered on the following date:
