Founded: 1892 The Liverpool County Football Association has been the governing body of all Association Football in the County area for over 120 years.

Liverpool County FA is all about providing opportunities in Football for All, this section tells you a little bit more about us...

Our Mission is:

  • To lead the successful development of football on Merseyside by working in Partnership with Key Agencies to provide quality football opportunities.
  • To govern and administer all aspects of football within the County boundary
  • To proactively introduce the initiatives of the Football Association to all bodies of football within the County boundary
  • To actively encourage people to participate and develop their individual skills, through their participation in football

 

Our activities will adhere to the new Liverpool County FA set of values, which have been adopted across the whole of the organisation.

Football Development
The Football Development Team can assist and support you in developing all areas of the grassroots game including; League and Club development (FA Charter Standard), Coaching & Education courses, Refereeing, Women’s & Girls football, Social Inclusion, Club Welfare, Safeguarding & Equity, Disability football, Funding & facilities, School-Club links. Governance
The Governance Team can assist you with enquiries relating to the following areas of grassroots football; Administration (Affiliation, Regulations, Discipline), County Cup competitions, Communications, Media relations, Sponsor/Partnerships. Members' Services
A range of online services are now available to Leagues, Clubs, Referees and Coaches. The aim of Members Services is to make the administration of football as easy as possible, and using the FA's FAN technology, these services enable you to have access to information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
