Liverpool FA's Disability Player Development Centre's Players

Disability Development Centre Trials

Liverpool FA are delighted to announce that the Football Association have renewed our license to deliver a Disability Player Development Centre...

The Disability Player Development Centre caters for pan disability and the final selection of male players will represent:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Partially Sighted
  • Deaf / Hearing Impaired
  • Leg/Arm Amputee
  • Learning Disabilities (SEN statement)

Our aim is to identify players deemed to possess a higher level of ability from within grassroots youth football and place them in a technical programme designed to promote individual football development. From our Centre we want to promote player progression to North West Regional Impairment Specific Centre of Excellences (Cerebral Palsy & Partially Sighted) or mainstream football activity.

Please note that for the 12/13 season the Development Centre will only be able to accommodate a maximum of 6 Learning Disability Players

The Centre will participate in Regional Disability Development Centre Festivals with Centre staff performing regular profiling on all players involved.

The trials will be held at Wavertree Aquatics Centre (Picton Sports Centre), 39 Wellington Road, Liverpool, L15 4LE and the dates and times are below:

  • Tuesday 25th September - 6pm-8pm
  • Tuesday 2nd October  - 6pm-8pm
  • Tuesday 9th October  - 6pm-8pm

Please complete the attached Trials Registration Form and send it back to the contact address on the form.
