Kit Aid

Thanks To All Who Donated Kit

Everybody at Liverpool County FA would like to thank those who donated old or un-used football kit to KitAid, following last weekend’s collection at Walton Hall Park.

Kit Aid In short, the KitAid collection was a huge success.

Between 9.00am and 1.00pm, a number of County FA-affiliated clubs and members of the community stopped by the Association’s headquarters to kindly donate.

In all, over 60 boxes of old football kits, amounting to around 2,500 items, will now be shipped over to African and distributed to adults and children in need.

Stuart Carrington, Football Development Officer at Liverpool FA, said: “On behalf of Liverpool County FA, I’d like to say a big thank you to all of our clubs and members of the community who donated old football kits and equipment. Both us and KitAid are truly overwhelmed by the generosity shown.

“Moving forward, Liverpool County FA’s offices will continue to be a drop-off point and KitAid’s next collection will be in December 2018 – so please continue to donate, as the unwanted kit makes a huge difference to people’s lives in Africa.
