LGBTQ+ Tournament With Liverpool Pride

Liverpool County FA and Liverpool FC Foundation will be hosting this year's LGBTQ+ Tournament at Anfield Sports and Community Centre on Saturday 7 July.

The free five-a-side tournament is open to both teams and individuals, and all members from the LGBTQ+ community and allies are welcome.  The event forms part of Liverpool Pride, which aims to combats homophobia and transphobia across the Liverpool City Region and beyond.

There's also free football coaching during the day for children aged 5-11, plus information stalls on health and wellbeing activities in the local area.

Free 5v5 Mixed Football Tournament

  • It is free of charge
  • Players from the LGBTQ+ community and allies. We positively welcome transgender and non-binary people
  • 10:00am Arrival
  • 10:30am Kick-Off
  • Tournament ends at 2:00pm

Individual players will be designated a team upon arrival at the tournament.

Tournament Rules

  • Groups can’t have more than 3 of the same gender playing at one time
  • EIGHT players per-squad
  • Open to those aged 16+
  • Everyone is welcome regardless of footballing ability
