Liverpool County FA Update

LCFA would like to wish all our clubs, leagues, referees, players, coaches, and volunteers from across Merseyside, good luck for the new season!

Following a hugely challenging year for all of us, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of our grassroots community for your dedication, hard work, patience and tireless commitment in getting football back and ready to kick start the new season.

It’s also been brilliant to see so many new and existing clubs completing their affiliation applications, which is a true mark that grassroots football in Merseyside is once again ready to thrive. We are proud to be offering free affiliation and County Cup entry for a second consecutive season and we hope this has been of some help during this turbulent period.

Daniel Green, CEO at Liverpool FA said; “The last 18 months have been challenging for grassroots football and our business too. Our priority, as always, is to support our clubs, leagues, officials, volunteers, colleagues and communities through this difficult time. I would like to thank you personally for your ongoing patience and understanding as we continue to navigate our way through the effects of the pandemic and wish you all good luck as you prepare for the start of the 2021-22 season.”
