Free Online Event - Liverpool City Sports Forum w/ LFC Foundation

Members of the grassroots football community can now register for this virtual event on 28 January.

On Thursday 28 January between 6pm and 7.30pm, members of the Merseyside grassroots football community can take part in a Liverpool City Sports Forum virtual event, featuring speakers from the Liverpool FC Foundation.

LFC Foundation are looking to support and work collaboratively with grassroots football and sports clubs through the Football Development Model and Multi-Sports Programme.

During the forum, the LFC Foundation will provide an overview of the upcoming Player Development Centre, and how the Club's official charity can support the clubs through four key areas of development; player, club, coaching and grassroots settings.

LFC Foundation's Sports Development Manager Karl Carney and Senior Community Manager Katie Ellis-Carrigg will also provide an overview of the Multi-Sports Programme, with aims to work collaboratively in delivery of multi-sports sessions in school and community settings.

This offer has many benefits for partnering sports clubs including training and mentoring, pathways for potential new members to their sports club, paid opportunities for delivering coaches, and additional link up and support.
