We are very proud to announce that Liverpool FA have achieved the Equality Standard for Sport Foundation Level. The Equality Standard is a nationally recognised framework that assists County FAs with embedding equality at the highest level of their organisation, and communicating and sharing that commitment with its staff and its partners.
It also provides a framework to review how a County FA is organised around equality in relation to its service delivery, workforce, policies, procedures and compliance against the Equality Act 2010. The achievements also support Football’s Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination Action Plan 2013-17. The Standard has 4 levels: Foundation, Preliminary, Intermediate and Advanced.

I would personally like to thank all of our staff and grassroots volunteers for their time, effort and dedication into gaining this accreditation. Liverpool County FA is proud of its long history of being open and inclusive, particularly in the areas of female and disability football, this award recognises that work.
We celebrate diversity and are committed to widening access further and reducing inequalities for underrepresented individuals, groups and communities.
