Liverpool County FA is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for coaches across Merseyside, who will have the opportunity to see a workshop delivered by Pete Sturgess, The FA Foundation Phase Technical Lead, focusing on the recently-released FA Foundation Phase DNA.
Taking place on Thursday 31 May at Walton Hall Park, the session will commence at 6.30pm and finish at 9.00pm. People are urged to get to Walton Hall Park for 6.00pm to ensure a prompt start at 6.30pm.
The Foundation Phase DNA is an exciting new resource for grassroots coaches, which is packed full of ideas, sessions, articles and videos based around The FA’s 4 Corner Model for long-term player development. There are age-specific sections which will be of real benefit to all coaches, but especially those entrusted with the footballing development of young players.
The CPD evening will consist of a presentation outlining the key messages from the DNA, followed by a practical session to demonstrate how this works in coaching scenarios. The session will end with a Q&A session and a chance for coaches to talk to Pete in detail about the Foundation Phase DNA.
