2018 Wirral Cup

This May, Tranmere Rovers Football Club is to host the first-ever Wirral Cup; a football festival for Under-10s through to Under-15s.

Held on Saturday 26 through to Monday 28 May 2018, the Wirral Cup is open to both boys’ and girls’ teams.

Hosted at Tranmere Rovers’ professional elite training facility, Solar Campus, the Wirral Cup presents a unique opportunity for all grassroots clubs, alongside associations and professional clubs, to take part in a celebration of football across the region.

The festival will provide exciting challenges and experiences for players of clubs at all levels.

Alongside matches played on the day, the festival will provide coaching sessions and coach education sessions for clubs, which will be delivered by Tranmere Rovers’ professional coaches working within the club’s academy.
