Volunteers

YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY TO BECOME A STAR

Liverpool FA is committed to supporting local volunteers in club football that make up the backbone of grassroots football in Merseyside.

A well-run club should feature the backroom staff of a fixtures secretary, fundraisers, a club welfare officer and a chairman to oversee the club’s constitution, as well as frontline first-aiders to act as physios and team coaches.

The FA recognises the value of volunteers and provides guides to clubs on how to recruit, retain and reward volunteers.
