Applications open to join Liverpool FA Youth Council

We are looking for young people across our county to join the LCFA Youth Council.

Next season Liverpool County FA Youth Council will be made up of 10 volunteers, and alongside this we will continue to develop all members in their personal and professional development. We are committed to providing youth leaders with meaningful opportunities for young people in football.

What is Liverpool County FA Youth Council?

A team of young people, typically between the ages of 16 and 25 who are the voice of the youth for Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Liverpool County FA involve the Youth Council in a meaningful way, by allowing them to provide equal weight and value to their ideas and suggestions that can dictate the direction of Liverpool County FA’s decisions. As well as this, we focus on personal development by running workshops and providing experiences for our members to help support future aspirations regardless as to whether that is in football/sports or not.

Importance of a Youth Council

Liverpool County FA recognises that young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. You as a Youth Leader, possess the energy, skills, and ideas to change football and the wider community for the better today. For this reason, your voice as a youth leader is imperative in ensuring that Liverpool County FA can make the appropriate and necessary changes for all the youths in Liverpool, and we cannot do that without you!
