Liverpool FA are delighted to welcome Matthew Pointer to the team, as our new Referee Development Officer. Matthew has joined the team after having previously worked within the same role at Essex County FA.

Matthew is in his eighth season of refereeing, is currently a Level 4 Referee and has been in FA CORE for 3 seasons. Matthew said, “I am determined to support, develop and create a positive impact within refereeing across the region so that all referees can achieve whatever goals they may have, whether that is to develop and challenge themselves within their refereeing, to progress through the refereeing pyramid or to be part of the incredible Referee Workforce we have at Liverpool FA”.
