Recreational Football

Recreational football is considered a format of the game that is flexible in its delivery and flexible in how participants access the opportunity to play.

The increasing popularity of this format of football is due to its ability to fit as part of people's busy schedules with limited commitment required.

The FA recognises the part recreational football now plays in the growth of the game and has developed a range programmes to encompass this expanding format.
