Coaches
START YOUR COACHING JOURNEY
Liverpool FA is proud to provide a range of coaching courses for people who work or wish to work in football on a paid or voluntary basis.
We hold our courses at various venues across the county and surrounding areas in an attempt to make them as accessible as possible.
All courses are packed with expert knowledge, cover all areas of player development and will result in a nationally recognised qualification.
Get into Coaching
Football is a Constantly Evolving Game.
Players get quicker, stronger and more creative. Teams work harder, cover more distance and face more challenges, both on and off the pitch. As the game changes, the role of the coach can never be underestimated.
Benefits include:
• Chance to develop personal skills and skills of others
• Improves fitness
• Gives something back to the local community
• Opportunity to socialise and meet new people
Development & Courses
The first stepping-stone on The FA's core Coaching Pathway is the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course.
This course introduces you to coaching football, working with players from U7 to open age and offers an insight into the English game - how it's played and how to support the development of future players.
From your first steps to the elite level qualifications, explore the journey from grassroots to professional coaching.
Coaching Support
The FA is here to ensure everyone who participates has a great experience – regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, ability or disability, faith or age.
In this section you'll find information about support initiatives and training opportunities to help you improve as a coach, be safe in your coaching and the environments you create, and access on-the-ground support when you need it.
