The team at Liverpool FA has been saddened to learn of the passing of former top level referee, Len Kelly.

Len was a stalwart of the St Helens Referees' Society and LCFA, supporting so many match officials across the county.

Few will have the impact on refereeing that Len had and he will be a great loss.

The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool FA are with Len’s family and friends at this very sad time. 

May he rest in peace. 

Whilst Len's funeral will be private, all that knew Len are invited to join his family at The Chain Hall in St Helens on Friday 6 September from 2pm to celebrate his life.
