LIVERPOOL COUNTY FA IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE ITS REFEREE PROMOTIONS AHEAD OF THE FORTHCOMING SEASON, WHICH INCLUDES PETER BANKES REACHING THE PREMIER LEAGUE REFEREES LIST

Peter has come through the LCFA Referee Academy system and everybody at the County FA is delighted for him and his family. He has worked extremely hard to reach his goal but has never forgotten his roots, helping to develop other referees in Liverpool as a Coach Mentor. 
Having attended the UEFA Core Programme, Peter developed further under the guidance of FA Referees Committee Chair David Elleray, before moving through the FA and PGMOL ranks to reach the Premier League for next season. His talent, hard work and dedication makes him an example for all young referees in the county.

Peter also remains a member and a massive supporter of the Referees Association.

Meanwhile, A Jackson, B Speedie and S Copeland were all promoted to Level 2a, whilst D Locker, D Baines and K Silcock have all reached Level 2b

Joining the Assistant Referees Select Panel is K Johnson and S Moreland.
