Liverpool County FA is delighted to announce that Pete Sturgess, The FA’s Foundation Phase Technical Lead, will be joining us once again to deliver part two of his England DNA Foundation Phase coaching workshop.

This FREE-TO-ATTEND event is open to all licensed coaches across Merseyside and will be taking place at Liverpool County FA, Walton Hall Park, on Thursday 6 June. Commencing at 6.30pm (arrivals at 6.00pm for 6.30pm start) and finishing at 9.00pm – coaches are advised to book quickly to avoid disappointment.

The Foundation Phase DNA is an exciting new resource for grassroots coaches, which is jam-packed full of ideas, sessions, articles and videos based around The FA 4 Corner Model for long-term player development.

There are age-specific sections which will be a real benefit to all coaches, but especially those entrusted with the footballing development of Merseyside’s youngest players.

On the evening, the workshop will consist of a presentation outlining the key messages from the DNA, followed by a practical session to demonstrate how this works in coaching scenarios. The night will finish with a Q&A session and a chance to talk to Pete about the Foundation Phase DNA.
