Procedure for Sanctioning of Pre-Season Friendly Fixtures

Please follow these steps to ensure your pre-season friendly fixtures are correctly sanctioned.

With the countdown to the new season now on, many teams are arranging pre-season friendly games to ramp up fitness levels and introduce new measures to ensure players’ safety.

As such, Liverpool County FA would like to remind ALL teams of the procedure for the sanctioning of pre-season friendly fixtures.

  • All teams MUST be affiliated to Liverpool County FA for the 2020-21 season

  • Referees officiated MUST be registered for the 2020-21 season

  • Details for the pre-season fixture(s), including the affiliation numbers of teams, are to be sent to Liverpool County FA NO LATER than three days before the match to approve the sanction. These must be sent to steven.swinnerton@liverpoolfa.com

  • All fixtures MUST be within the FA’s guidelines for the return of competitive outdoor grassroots football. To view these, please click here
