Liverpool FA’s Football Development Officer Anna Farrell said: “Following the success of the She Inspires League, which now boasts 18 teams across three ability-banded divisions, we want to ensure that we are providing football opportunities for women of all ages. Walking Football is a great opportunity to help those females keep an active lifestyle irrespective of their age, as well as getting those back playing football who perhaps had to stop due to injuries. The aim of this fund is to support clubs or providers in starting up sessions with the ultimate aim of them becoming teams and joining our Walking Football Festival/Division.”

Please note funding is limited and will be awarded on strength of application and need in area.
