Phoenix FC was set up in 2017 by Malik Al Shhadat to help support Syrian refugees living in Liverpool.

Liverpool County FA has helped Malik to achieve his dream of entering Phoenix FC into a league for the first time by offering advice and support, as well as giving the team a new kit for their upcoming league campaign.
