FA Women's High Performance Goalkeeping Centre nomination window open

If you know a female goalkeeper with great potential, make sure you nominate her for this fantastic opportunity.

The FA Women’s High-Performance Goalkeeping Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University is accepting nominations for talented young female goalkeepers in the North West who are within the U10 to U16 age groups for the 2022/23 season.

Nominations can come from:
- Club, county or school coaches 
- FA Staff (e.g. TTCs/talent reporters/County FA)
- FA Women’s High-Performance Centre Staff

Nominations are open until 19th August ready for a September start. Once underway, sessions will take place on Friday evening in order to minimise clashes with club training.

The Centre looks to ‘unearth, empower and inspire future generations of female England goalkeepers and England goalkeeper coaches’, and is currently led by FA/UEFA Qualified goalkeeper coaches who are all current practitioners within the female game, alongside Coach Development Officer (Women and Girls), Jemma Entwhistle, FA Women’s Youth Goalkeeper coach, Jamie Annerson, and FA Coach Mentor, Keith Rees.
