As the 2022/23 season gets nearer, we're inviting referees to register for the new season.
Please also note, referee registrations and insurances are valid until the 30 June 2022 for all those who completed their 2021/22 registration online via the Whole Game System.
Referees are required to register with their parent County FA annually in order to be appointed to games by leagues and other competitions.

COST OF REGISTRATION
The cost of registering as a referee for the 2022-23 season will be £20.00.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR REGISTRATION
For registration season 2022/23 Referees within youth football must have:
1) An in-date DBS - To complete a DBS application please download the DBS guidance.
2) An in-date one of the following safeguarding education courses:
Safeguarding for All - Referees aged 14 to 15 should complete the FA's 'Safeguarding for All'
Safeguarding Children Course, or
Safeguarding recertification - (if they have an existing in-date safeguarding workshop Face-to-Face workshop this will allows you to register as a referee).
The short online re-registration process on the unique Referee Registration portal allows you to update your contact details, complete an equality/diversity form and state the types of football you would like to cover.

It’s important to remember that if you have not registered you should not officiate in League fixtures, competitions, tournaments or friendly matches until you have completed the process.
BLUE FIN INSURANCE
Referees will now have the option to purchase Personal Accident Insurance through Bluefin. This is an additional £5.00 and is not a mandatory requirement. Further information on what is provided through this package and how to purchase can be found below.
