Vacancy - Chief Executive Officer

We're looking for a CEO to lead our team as we continue to work to ensure football is accessible to everyone across Liverpool and Merseyside.

DO YOU WANT TO HELP LEAD POSITIVE CHANGES IN GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL?

Liverpool County FA – the governing body for grassroots football across Merseyside – is looking for an inspiring and dynamic leader, with a passion for football, to lead, coach, develop and mentor our fantastic team working across six Local Authorities: Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Warrington & Halton.

The new Chief Executive Officer will replace Daniel Green, who will be leaving his role on Wednesday 8 June to pursue new challenges outside of football. We would like to thank Daniel for all his hard work during his time with us, and wish him all the best in his new career.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team as Liverpool County FA embark on a new three-year strategy in partnership with The FA, local partners, member clubs and leagues.

As the governing body locally, we are responsible for supporting, developing and promoting the grassroots game. Across Merseyside, we support over 55,000 players, coaches, volunteers and referees within the game.

Want to play your part in developing the beautiful game?

You will also be the Senior Safeguarding Lead at LCFA, and ensure that there is a culture where everyone feels safe in their involvement in football across the county.

If you have a proven track record in business, and demonstrable experience of leading organisations through change, we’d love to hear from you.
