The LFCF Player Development Programme is a new offering by the Foundation which aims to deliver a unique football development offer for boys ands girls aged 7-14 year olds of all skills and abilities, with a clear focus on development of its players alongside local coaches, grassroot clubs and leagues.
The Player Development Programme’s mission is to deliver a unique curriculum of football, ‘The Liverpool Way,’ as a core framework to develop all its players no matter where they are on their footballing journey.
The programme is focused on creating experiences that will we shape our participants progression into young adults and give them skills that can be used throughout their lives.

Mini Player Development Programme
An introduction to football for children aged 4 - 6 focusing on key, fundamental basic techniques, with an emphasis on developing all areas of the FA's Four Corner Model; Technical, Social, Physical and Psychological.
All sessions delivered are structured to a high standard focusing on various themes of football including passing, dribbling, turning and shooting and underpinned by key focus of developing your child in making friends whilst enjoying football.
The new model will provide a springboard of opportunity for our young players including potential exclusive opportunities to attend LFC Academy, Melwood, fun mini games against other teams/sites and a clear pathway into our Player Development Centre at Halewood (age 7 - 14).
Female only football sessions for girls aged 5 - 11 years of age, delivered by experienced LFC Foundation coaches.
This provision focuses on developing each player at their own pace in a player centred learning environment.
We will utilise our structured LFC Foundation holistic player development model, focusing on the fundamental techniques required to develop as a young footballer.
We also have created a suitable pathway for any player that would like to continue to develop, with the LFC Foundation Player Development Centre pathway available on the same site.
