LFC Foundation launch sports course for LGBT+ Community
Empowering people in sport starts with great coaching.
The Game On Coaching Academy gives support to the next generation of inclusive coaches under the guidance of LFC Foundation staff.
There can be numerous barriers to starting a coaching career for specific groups. LFC Foundation are addressing this by firstly launching a sports course specifically for people from the LGBT+ Community & Allies. This programme would then support the enrolled group through their coaching pathway.
LFC Foundation are now welcoming applications. To be eligible to apply you must have a passion for sports coaching with a coaching qualification desired. You will need to be committed to developing your coaching skills and considering a career in coaching. The Coaching Academy will take place on evenings and weekends from September 2023 – March 2024.
