Liverpool FA Platform for Football affiliation launch date confirmed

Our Platform for Football will go live on Monday 19th June.

A message from our Chief Executive Officer, Tony Smith:

LCFA affiliation flyerFurther to our announcement in April, referring to the introduction of Platform for Football, and the changes that will occur within County FA Affiliation nationally, Liverpool FA are pleased to announce that our platform will be going live from the 19th June 2023.

As confirmed to clubs in April, as part of this standardisation, affiliation for the 2023/24 season will switch from a club fee to a team fee for all County FAs nationally.
Moving into next season, affiliation fees for Liverpool FA will be:

  • £10 per youth team
  • £30 per adult team

County Cups Entry Fees will remain the same, being £20 for Adult Teams and £15 for Youth Teams.

Alongside our dedicated and passionate team at Liverpool FA, our aim remains constant; to support and continue improving grassroots football for everyone here on Merseyside.

As part of this we have developed our new Commitment to Safeguarding Fund to support clubs in fulfilling the new Safeguarding requirements, all U7-U18s team officials will be required to have complete the Safeguarding Children Course, for the upcoming season. Find out more about the Commitment to Safeguarding Fund here.

We are also delighted to confirm a new partnership with Sportsguard who will provide both Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance for the coming season.

As well as this, we will also be providing clubs with further guidance to clubs on the development of PFF, user guidance and FAQ’s for the system. This will release on Thursday 15th June, alongside the access to the PFF.

As with all new systems, there are likely to be teething issues as the development continues nationally, in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss this further.

We have also just released a guidebook to the affiliation changes for 2023-24.
