Liverpool County Football Association are delighted to announce an additional member of the board, who joins us as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Susan Horwood joins Liverpool FA as our Independent Non-Executive Director, leading on Human Resources. Susan has over 30 years’ experience in HR, encompassing Learning & Development, Recruitment and Benefits, spanning across multiple industry sectors. 

Upon her appointment, Susan said: "I am delighted to join the board and excited about supporting what the future holds with Liverpool FA, and I look forward to working with you all. I pride myself on being a straight talker demonstrating honesty and integrity, fairness and equity and getting stuff done."

Liverpool FA CEO, Tony Smith, added: "This is a further positive addition to our board, as we strive to improve and focus on our 2024 – 2028 strategy. We are excited for Susan to immerse within the business and help develop our ongoing commitment to the staffing element of our business. We look forward to welcoming her into the team."
