Helen McLoughlin, Corporate Fundraising Manager for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity said: “We are so very happy to have been selected as Charity of the Year by Liverpool FA!  I’m confident that our partnership for the next 2 years will encourage lots of much needed support for our charity.  Clatterbridge Cancer Centres are here for our communities, and our charity provides invaluable support for patients, staff, and research programmes.”

Adam Greaves-Smith, Head of Operations for Liverpool FA added: “We are delighted to be joining hands with Clatterbridge Charity, and we are looking forward to working with them over the coming two years to showcase the incredible work that they do, and support it where we can. A major focus that we share is the pinnacle of health in the community, a cause that Clatterbridge are wholly behind with their Pre-Hab clinics. The charity holds a special place in the hearts of so many of our stakeholders, and the unfortunate statistics mean that it’s a name that three quarters of the region know and have been supported by directly. As well as announcing this partnership, the Board and staff at Liverpool FA would like to thank all those at Clatterbridge for the work that they do in our city.”
