Yellow Armband Initiative for U18s
Liverpool County FA is backing the yellow armband initiative which serves as a visual reminder that, before questioning every decision, this referee is subject to children's safeguarding legislation and should therefore be protected, encouraged and treated with respect.
'When I ref, spectators can shout a lot and this can make me lose confidence. This is a perfect opportunity to embrace the yellow armband campaign, to listen to our young referees and take a stand.'
