REGISTER WITH LIVERPOOL FA

REFEREE REGISTRATION WINDOW FOR 2021-22 SEASON TO OPEN ON 1ST JUNE 2021.

Liverpool County FA are pleased to be able to confirm that the Referee Registration Window for the 2021-22 season, will open on 1st June 2021.

Please also note, referee registrations and insurances are valid until the 30 June 2021 for all those who completed their 2020/21 registration online via the Whole Game System.

Referees are required to register with their parent County FA annually in order to be appointed to games by leagues and other competitions.

COST OF REGISTRATION

The cost of registering as a referee for the 2021-22 season will be £20.00.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Since the launch of The FA’s Whole Game System, referees are now able to complete the Referee Registration online. Please CLICK HERE to log in to Whole Game System.

The online process is much simpler than in previous seasons – and cuts down on unnecessary paperwork and administration.

In order to register online, you must log in with your FAN/Email address and password. You can then follow the on-screen instructions.

WHY DO I NEED TO REGISTER?

Under FA regulations, referees MUST register in order to referee in affiliated competitions – and leagues are forbidden from appointing unregistered referees to games under any circumstances.

PRE-REQUISITES FOR REFEREE REGISTRATIONS

Please see below for the mandatory pre-requisites that Referees must adhere to so they can register and officiate in the 2021-22 season:

Referees wishing to officiate in Youth Football (U7-U18s) must have completed the following:
a) Complete and/or have an in-date FA DBS (valid for 3yrs) To renew or complete an FA DBS please click here
b) Complete and/or have an in-date FA Safeguarding For All (valid for 2yrs) or FA Safeguarding Children certificate (valid for 3yrs).
Further clarification on the Safeguarding courses can be found below, along with links to enrol/complete them.

The Whole System will not let you progress with your registration unless you have the above in place

Note – Liverpool County FA highly recommends that ALL referees hold both an in-date FA CRC and FA Safeguarding Certificate.

BLUEFIN PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Referees will now have the option to purchase Personal Accident Insurance through Bluefin. This is an additional £5.00 and is not a mandatory requirement. Further information on what is provided through this package and how to purchase can be found below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Safeguarding Children Workshop

Referees who are aged 14/15 years old must have completed the following:
a) Complete free 1 hour Safeguarding For All LINK HERE (valid for two years)

Referees who are aged 16yrs+, but completed their previous Safeguarding qualification as a 14/15 year old can;
a) Complete free 1 hour Safeguarding For All LINK HERE (valid for two years)
b) Complete the new Online Safeguarding Children Course (£30) LINK HERE (valid for two years with continual free recertification)

All other Referees who are aged 16yrs+ can;
a) Complete free 1 hour Safeguarding For All LINK HERE (valid for two years)
b) If they have a previous Safeguarding Workshop Date, complete the free online recertification LINK HERE (valid for three years)
c) Complete the new Online Safeguarding Children Course (£30) LINK HERE (valid for two years with continual free recertification)
