Futsal League is Back on Merseyside

Thursday 19 April 2018 saw the return of the Liverpool County FA’s Futsal League in Merseyside.

The recently re-launched Futsal League comprises of two divisions, one for male players and another one for female players.

On the opening night of fixtures, two of the six male teams played their first games of the new league season, whilst six of the seven female teams kicked off their campaign.

The seven teams within the women’s division are: Liverbirds, Maghull Girls, Pilkington Ladies, The Farmers, Liverpool Futsal Club and Alder.

Meanwhile, the men’s league comprises of: Man v Fat, FC Salle, South Africa, Fussball, Dengo United and Ashfield Allstars.

The Futsal League is contested at Anfield Sports & Community Centre, with fixtures played between 7.00pm and 10.15pm on Thursday nights.

Places in the leagues are still available, costing £25 per-team, per-week – with the league running for 12 weeks.

All games are officiated by qualified FA Futsal Referees
