Coach Education - Online Modules

Coaches encouraged to complete online modules before 22 March 2020.

In the coming days, The FA will be moving to a new system called FA Learning.

This system will replace the current LMS and is set to come into effect as of Monday 23 March.

As a result, this transition may affect learners trying to complete their online modules between 23 March and 6 April 2020.

Therefore, The FA is suggesting that candidates attempt to complete online modules before 23 March.

The following online modules will need completing:

  • Introduction to coaching
  • Long-term player development
  • Plan, do, review
  • Respect for Coaches
  • Online introduction to equality and diversity

In addition, if candidates have received an email with regards to ‘Safeguarding Children – How We Support’, which was an online module for a FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course that started before January 2020 – this also needs to be completed by 22 March.

Failure to do so will result in candidates being asked to book onto a three-hour workshop, which costs £25.
